A. Rosenfield and Abe Hirsch owned this distillery, which began life as Hill & Perkins. It had a capacity of 128 bushels of corn a day. The distillery burned in 1905 but was rebuilt and continued to operate until Prohibition began.
Just before Prohibition ended in 1933, the Medley family bought Rock Spring Distillery and merged it with their Daviess County Distilling. In 1940, they sold that distillery off Ewing Road to Fleischmann Distilling Corp. and started Medley Distilling.
