Celebrate Independence Day at the Owensboro Convention Center on July 4, beginning at 6:00 PM, for an evening packed with patriotic fun for the entire family. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, guests of all ages can enjoy FREE activities such as the Patriotic Power Challenge Obstacle Course, Basketball Challenge, Inflatable Axe Throwing, and Bouncer Maze. Ticketed guests will also receive unlimited access to all inflatables and attractions inside the exhibit halls, including premium experiences like the Rock Wall/Spider Climb Slide and the chance to test their skills on the Patriotic Mechanical Bull. With exciting games, family-friendly fun, and plenty of festive spirit, 4th Fest offers the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July. All American 4th of July (Friday After 5)
Ready to enjoy some fireworks, food & freedom with the family?
Celebrate the Fourth of July all weekend long as the festivities kick off with Friday After 5 on the riverfront. Grab your friends and family and enjoy an evening of live music featuring Cynthia & the End Times and Whiskey Row on the Main Stage, along with Last Call performing on the Overlook Stage. The night concludes with a free drone show over the Owensboro riverfront beginning at 9:15 PM, creating a spectacular start to the holiday weekend. The celebration continues on July 4, with live performances from Hall Pass and the Downtown Band. Food Trucks along Veterans Boulevard and numerous downtown restaurants will also be serving up plenty of options, making it easy to spend your weekend celebrating in downtown Owensboro. Hometown Freedom Fest
Grab your friends and family and prepare for a star-spangled good time!
Celebrate Independence Day at the July 3 Hometown Freedom Fest – America 250 Edition beginning at 5:00 PM at Panther Creek Park. Families can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the evening, including the Equestrian Enterprises Petting Zoo, Spacewalk of Ohio Valley inflatables, Holes to Go Mini-Golf, patriotic photo opportunities at Shelter #1, and a patriotic scavenger hunt. Guests can also grab a bite from local food trucks while the kids enjoy Daniel’s Fun Foam Factory Party from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Live music from Yellow Banks will fill the park from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM, leading into the Presentation of the Colors and National Anthem. The evening concludes with a fireworks show presented by German American Bank beginning at 9:00 PM, making Hometown Freedom Fest a star-spangled celebration for the whole family.
