Smothers Park Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony ( At Smothers Park, November 21, @5:00 PM)
Watch the Christmas tree in Smothers Park light up and kick off the Hometown Christmas events in Downtown Owensboro! The Smothers Park Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will include performances by the Kentucky Youth Chorale and Owensboro Dance Theatre. You can then catch the Dancing Lights throughout Smothers Park every night through December 31.

Celebrate the holiday season at the Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade! This year’s theme, “It’s Christmas Time in the City,” will bring festive cheer to downtown Owensboro as beautifully decorated floats, cars, and marching bands make their way from Pearl Street and 2nd to Locust Street and 2nd. It’s the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season full of lights, laughter, and community spirit!
