Get ready to celebrate! Owensboro has exciting plans for the 4th of July, including fireworks, live music, and fun for the whole family!
Starting on July 3, Daviess County will have its annual fireworks show at Yellow Creek Park! You will find many food trucks, live music, pony rides, and a petting zoo! This year, the launch point is being moved to the parking lot near the lake, giving spectators a better view of the entire show! Bring your chairs and blankets to watch fireworks and celebrate just a little early!
On July 4, Owensboro Convention Center will be hosting the 4th Fest! This will be an event that is filled with fun for the family. There will be a wide range of indoor activities on the first floor in the exhibit halls, including a rock wall, spider climb, axe throwing, and an extreme chaos obstacle course. All of these activities are FREE to everyone and start at 6:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM!

- Exhibit Hall Terrace Seating: $10 per person, General Admission
- Kentucky Legend Pier Seating: $12 per person or $140 for a reserved table of 10
- All American Seating: $35 per person and includes seating in the third-floor ballroom, a buffet meal from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, and balcony viewing of the fireworks display
- Red Hot VIP Seating: Reserved seating in the third-floor ballroom, a buffet meal from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, two drink tickets per person to the private VIP bar, and balcony viewing of the fireworks display. Available only as complete tables of 10 for $500. Please note that alcohol drink tickets are for guests 21 and over only.
Downtown on July 4, the City of Owensboro invites you to celebrate Independence Day at the annual All-American Fourth of July event! This will also be combined with three additional locations throughout the city ( Southern Little League Fields, Owensboro Sportcenter/Moreland Park, and Owensboro Warehouse Leasing). The celebration will begin at 5:00 PM with live music in McConnell Plaza. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 PM.
