Top 3 Things to do at ROMP This Weekend: June 25-28

Music

Yes, ROMP may be held in the Bluegrass Capital of the World, but that doesn’t mean bluegrass is the only music you’ll hear. There’s something for everyone at ROMP, including country, modern folk, rock, and even a little mix of pop! Artists like Molly Tuttle, Sam Bush, Fireside Collective, and so many more are bringing diverse sounds to the stage. No matter your taste in music, you’ll find a rhythm to dance to at ROMP.

Festival Food

ROMP is serving up more than just great music! It’s bringing an incredible variety of food trucks to satisfy every craving! This year’s lineup features favorites like Real Hacienda, J’s Good Grub, Jamaican Yard Vibes, Moonlite Bar-B-Q, Fresh by Gene’s, and Chaney’s. Just looking for a snack or something sweet? Treat yourself to an ice pop from Hello Pop, some kettle corn from Sweet-D-Licious, a pastry and coffee from The Spot, or a refreshing lemonade from Squeeze-E’s. With flavors from all over and something for everyone, your taste buds are in for a festival of their own!

Arts & Crafts and Kids Activities

ROMP isn’t just for the grown-ups; it’s a blast for kids too! The festival features a dedicated Kids Zone, a family-friendly space packed with hands-on fun for children of all ages. Starting Thursday, little ones can enjoy activities like nature art collages, interactive children’s music, and creating bluegrass bandana boho bags. Friday brings even more creativity with friendship bracelets, build-your-own banjos, and colorful CD suncatchers. Then on Saturday, kids can dive into a songwriter workshop, craft their own hippie headbands, and design whimsical wind chimes. It’s a weekend full of music, imagination, and memory-making for the whole family!
