Get swept away into a Christmas dreamscape at Owensboro Symphony’s “Home for the Holidays” concert! This is an event for the entire family as Troy Quinn and his musicians take the stage to perform all your favorite holiday songs amidst beautiful Christmas decorations, giving you the perfect Christmas kickoff to start the season right. The Owensboro Symphony will be joined by Tony-nominated singer Liz Callaway, along with the Owensboro Symphony Chorus and the Owensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra. This show will be held at RiverPark Center on December 14 at 7 p.m. and tickets are $48.
Lanham Bros. Christmas Jamboree
Head into the holidays with a bluegrass twist this weekend at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum! The Lanham Brothers Christmas Jamboree will be hosted by brothers Randy and Barry Lanham and recorded for broadcast on KET. Guests for this show include Kaleb Lee, Erin Rouse, The Blue Bridge Boys, and The Footstompin’ Express Cloggers! This show also serves as a fundraiser for Volunteer Owensboro, making it doubly special! The concert will be held on December 14 and tickets start at $20.
Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway
Described as “one of the most remarkable shows in musical theatre history” by the Washington Post, you’ll have the chance to see Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway right here in Owensboro! This musical was the first of its kind to take on the viewpoints of both the parents and young people to explore the complex, interconnected and social media-filled lives we live.
