Black Friday? Never heard of her. Here in Owensboro, we’ve got an entire WEEK dedicated to holiday shopping and supporting local businesses.
Yup, the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Independence Bank to bring you an entire week of shopping deals for the dozens of small businesses that make Owensboro such a fun place to shop. This year’s Shop Owensboro will kick off on November 30–also known as Small Business Saturday–and run through December 7.
Owensboro has some of the cutest local shops in the state! You’ll find a huge variety of businesses participating in this event, and they sell everything from clothing, sports equipment and home decor to jewelry, candles and crystals. There are also lots of great spa and salon deals!
And here’s the kicker. You can grab one of the coveted Shop Owensboro bags from Independence Bank on November 30 starting at 9 a.m. What do these bags contain? Oh, just some amazing deals and discounts for the local businesses you’ll be shopping at. AND some $25 gift certificates placed at random throughout the 500 bags available!
Just FYI, these bags go QUICKLY as this is one of the most popular shopping events in western Kentucky. So make sure to get in line early for an exciting morning of exclusive deals.
