Jeeps and Jamz Expo
For two days, it’s gonna be all about the Jeeps as Owensboro’s annual Jeeps and Jamz Expo kicks off summer the right way at the Owensboro Convention Center. This expo is gonna have amazing Jeep vendors and decked-out Jeeps and exclusive merch you can only find right here! The weekend will also include a Jeep Obstacle Course at Windy Hollow Speedway, held by Owensboro Off-Road Jeepers, an amazing outdoor music fest on the riverfront held by Friday After 5, a Jeep convoy (last year’s won the Kentucky state record for longest Jeep convoy!), car drag racing, guided trail rides, and a huge closing party to celebrate all things Jeep! Jeeps and Jamz will be held June 7 and 8.
PorchFest 2024
PorchFest 2024 is gonna bring nearly 40 musical acts on 12 different stages to our famous Griffith Avenue corridor this year! This is a free, outdoor music fest that recognizes some of the best local and regional talent in Kentucky. All you have to do is park your car along one of the side streets (or grab a Lyft or cab to drop you off), bring a lawn chair, and sit back and enjoy the music. Come hungry, as there will be at least 15 food trucks parked along the street serving everything from ice cream to barbecue to gourmet hot dogs. This is a family-friendly event for all ages! PorchFest will be held on June 8, and live music will be played from 3-11 p.m.
Strawberry Festival
If you love all things Strawberry, we’ve got the perfect event for you! The Cottage Farm Stand & Baking Co. is bringing back their amazing Strawberry Festival for two days this year! In addition to a number of strawberry-themed foods and flavors, you’ll get to enjoy a HUGE vendor fair featuring more than 100 different artisans, farmers and small business owners. You can make your own strawberry shortcake, sip on a strawberry slushie, and even grab a cute strawberry-shaped cup to drink from. There will also be a petting zoo and pony rides available! This is an event for the entire family, and you won’t wanna miss it! The Strawberry Festival will be held June 8 and 9 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days.
