One of the biggest cornhole tournaments in the WORLD is coming to Owensboro this summer!
If you’re a fan of the competitive tossing game, you need to schedule the ACO World Championships of Cornhole 19 tournament in your Google Calendar for July 23-27. This five-day event will be held at the Owensboro Convention Center.
The ACO World Championships is an event for players, spectators and the entire family. And beyond the competition, there will be tons of fun things to do! You can enter Game Challenges, shop from vendors and enjoy a player meet-and-greet while you’re there!
ACO Worlds Divisions are open to ACO Pros and any player that qualifies during the ACO season leading up to Worlds. ACO Competitive Divisions include: Singles, Doubles, Womens, Seniors, Juniors, Coed, Doubles and the Hampton Farms Big Blind Draw.
There is a $75,000 minimum guaranteed purse for the ACO Championships, meaning this competition is gonna be intense and amazing to watch.
You can click here for the full tournament schedule, but spectators can head to the Owensboro Convention Center on July 23 around 10 a.m. to see the first round of play. The final round of competitions will begin at 6 p.m.
On Wednesday, ACO Women’s Doubles starts the day off at 9 a.m., with Coed Doubles Championship Match finishing the day at 9 p.m.
On Thursday, the day begins with ACO World Doubles RPI (Ranked Player Invitational) at 9 a.m. and concludes with the Women’s Singles Championship Match at 7:30 p.m.
Friday will kick off with Singles Tier 2 competitions at 9 a.m. and end with the Doubles Championship Match at 7:30 p.m. Saturday will start with the ACO World Singles Championship Bracket at 9 a.m. and conclude with the ACO World Singles Finals at 7:30 p.m. Of course, there will be matches played all day long between the start and end of each day!
