The Owensboro Convention Center was filled with people from several states and across the world from places like Israel and the State of Palestine Wednesday for The Innovate Summit’s inaugural year.
The two-and-a-half day event, coined to bring together “some of the brightest minds on the planet throughout the globe,” saw professionals from a variety of fields inquiring about the tools to succeed in the new economy through guest speakers and panels discussing the latest trends, business ideas and challenges that can come about, while also learning about the opportunities that are available and that can be created.
Mark Calitri, president and chief executive officer of the Owensboro-Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau, who previously described the summit as an “action-packed conference … that will bring together industry experts providing thought-provoking and game-changing insights on innovation, leadership development, deep dives on the latest trends and exclusive networking opportunities with many anticipated experts from around the nation,” said the aim is to emphasize “a couple of fronts.”
