One of the most unique live music shows of the year is coming up in June, so we wanted to break down some of the details regarding PorchFest 2024!
This all-day concert features dozens of bands and performers who take the stage to showcase their talents. The caveat is, these “stages” are actually the front porches of some of the coolest homes in Owensboro.
PorchFest gives you the chance to see tons of different artists along our famous Griffith Avenue corridor. There are multiple stages and, throughout the day, each stage will feature multiple performers. You’ll find all kinds of music genres here–everything from jazz to funk to country to rock. We’ve even had some big names play at PorchFest in recent years!
And be sure to come hungry, because there will be food trucks selling everything from Greek gyros to ice cream to buffalo chicken onsite.
You can park your car along one of the side streets surrounding Griffith Avenue, or you can get a taxi, Uber or Lyft to drop you off! Whatever your preference is for getting to and from PorchFest safely.
And since you can spend the entire day and evening enjoying this event, be sure to pack some lawn chairs or a blanket, just in case you want to listen to some of the artists in the shaded front yards in front of the stage!
