Valentine’s Day Hot Spots in Owensboro

The most romantic holiday of the year is upon us, which means it’s time for us to break down a list of our Top Spots for Valentine’s Day!

Whether it’s a romantic dinner, a concert, or something random and unique, there’s no wrong way to celebrate the season of romance.

Restaurants

The Miller House–You can spoil your date with delicious food at this historic house-turned-restaurant. And if you enjoy dim lighting, reserve a spot in the basement and treat yourself to some top-shelf bourbon.

Lure Seafood and Grille–This one’s for our seafood lovers. Lure is located on the Ohio River, so you get waterfront views and a great aesthetic inside.

Niko’s Italian Cuisine–And for our pasta eaters, Niko’s has the best in the city. Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine by candlelight at this amazing restaurant.

The Cottage is offering a special Valentines brunch from February 10 thru the 14th.  Special menu for a special day!  Reservations via FB @cottagehwy56

Concerts/Shows

Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band–Head to the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum on February 8 for an early Valentine’s Day concert. Tickets for this show are only $20, and as part of their Winter Warmer Series, these shows provide guests with a cozy, intimate atmosphere.

Aaron Lewis–Former Staind band member Aaron Lewis is on tour across the country for his country music. This would be a really fun concert for anyone who loves rock and/or country music, as Lewis usually plays a mix of both. This concert will be at the Owensboro Sportscenter on February 22.

Fun/Unique Events

Cork & Cuisine–Held at the Owensboro Convention Center, you can get everything you dreamed out of your Valentine’s Day at Cork & Cuisine: Passionate Pairings. This event includes a five-course dinner expertly paired with wines and spirits. This event will be held on February 10 at 6 p.m.

Cooking Class–Enjoy a Valentine’s Adult Night with New York Strip and Shrimp Risotto at Joy’s Cooking Classes and More. BYOB for this one, but lemonade and sweet tea will be provided. This cooking class will be held February 10 at 6 p.m.
