Mark Rhoades, owner of Pinup Baggers in Newburgh, is bringing his River City Bike Expo back to the Owensboro Convention Center on May 31-June 2.
And he expects to double the number of spectators to 6,000 this time.
“But my sponsors are expecting to triple it” to 9,000, Rhoades told a news conference Friday afternoon at the convention center.
Mark Calitri, president of the Owensboro-Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau, said the CVB is asking for “a little bit more in ’24.”
And, he said, Rhoades is doing that.
