Groovin’ On The Green Bringing Jazz, Blues, Funk Music to Owensboro

Anyone who appreciates good blues and rhythm music is going to wanna hear about this upcoming outdoor concert. And even more, this show is free!

The Groovin’ On The Green music fest will kick off the fall season on September 30 at Moneta Sleet, Jr. Park. This event will feature three different musical groups spanning a variety of music genres, including jazz, blues, funk and rhythm and blues.

Some much-beloved artists will headline this year’s event! We’ve got the Sheryl Rouse Band; Monte Skeleton; and Higher Ground set to perform from 4-10 p.m. all day long. These are some super talented musicians hailing from all across our tri-state area, and we can’t wait to hear them play.

Bring your chairs and blankets so you can sit comfortably for this show. And come hungry because there will be some delicious food trucks and vendors at the park!

Brought to you by Owensboro’s Northwest Neighborhood Alliance, this event is all about community spirit and positive vibes, so come on down and have a blast!
