Visit Owensboro recently honored Chick-fil-A’s Adam English with the first Larry Maglinger Award. Adam consistently goes above and beyond for our guests and has a genuine heart for the Owensboro community.
The award was created to continue the legacy of the late City Commissioner and long-time CVB board member Larry Maglinger, and it is designed to honor residents who are ambassadors of local tourism efforts while demonstrating outstanding customer and guest service.
This nominee has faced real-life challenges and obstacles to overcome, but yet he still shows up every day with a smile on his face, ready to serve his guests. The nominee does, in fact, go above and beyond every day and has a genuine heart for the Owensboro community, Visit Owensboro President/CEO Mark Calitri read of English’s nomination.
