We’ve got a cool new convention coming to town, and right here’s where you can learn all about it! The Owensboro Convention Center is holding the Owensboro Comic & Toy Convention October 7 and 8, where you can meet some of the best voice actors in the business, including SpongeBob SquarePants voice actor Tom Kenny, among so many others!
But that’s not all. You can score professional photos with celebrities and spend the weekend hanging out with other comic book fans and toy collectors from across the country. Want to shake the hands of some of the comic book creators you’ve idolized for years? You can do that right here!
This celebrity lineup is full of talent, and these stars span many different genres of entertainment, so there’s an artist here for everybody. Plus, there’s plenty other guests who haven’t been announced yet.
Tom Kenny–who’s also done voice acting for shows such as CatDog and Adventure Time–will be joined by many other celebrities over the weekend. Some of the other guests on this star-studded lineup for the Owensboro Comic & Toy Convention include Megan Hollingshead from Pokemon, Naruto and Yu-Gi-Oh; Marty Grabstein from Courage the Cowardly Dog; Cal Dodd from X-Men: The Animated Series and Goosebumps; Pro Wrestling Hall of Famer Mickie James; Monica Rial from Dragonball, My Hero Academia and Soul Eater; Quinton Flynn from Metal Gear Solid and Sonic the Hedgehog; Robert Lamb from Filmation’s Bravestarr, He-Man & She-Ra and Darkwing Duck; Samantha Newark from Jem & The Holograms; and Shawn Lamb from Filmation’s Bravestarr, By Loyalty Torn and Allon.
And for all the comic collectors out there, we’ve got some top-notch talent coming to Owensboro. Some of these famous comic creators include Dave Aikens (SpongeBob SquarePants and Blue’s Clues); Bob Hall (Spider-Man; Moon Knight; West Coast Avengers); Jim Shooter (Avengers; Spider-Man; Secret Wars); and Kyle Starks (Rick & Morty; Peacemaker: Tries Hard; I Hate This Place). Others will be announced before the convention!
