What better way to celebrate an incredible Air Show than with an incredible concert? You’ll get to do that very thing on September 16 as Nitty Gritty Dirt Band heads to Owensboro for an Air Show After Party!
This concert is extra cool because each ticket includes access to the lawn for a special viewing of the Owensboro Air Show. All you need to bring is a chair or blanket for this outdoor show and you’re good to go! Leave the coolers at home for this one, as the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum will have a bar and concessions available all night.
And the legendary Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is giving peak performances these days with a refreshed lineup and newfound energy. The group’s been around for a long time and still remains one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music.
This show follows an extended 50th Anniversary tour for the band, where the ensemble grew to six people in 2018, including father-son duo Jeff and Jaime Hanna.
This show will be held on the outdoor lawn at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum. In the event of bad weather, the concert will move indoors. Preferred ticket holders will get a seat in Woodward Theater while General Admission tickets will be refunded. Music starts at 4 pm with Kentucky Shine and immediately followed by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and tickets start at $38. funded.
