Supporting Heroes Tribute Gala
We’re excited to bring you an event celebrating all of our brave heroes out there! On July 15, the Supporting Heroes Tribute Gala will give first responders and their families the chance to remember and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. This event also celebrates those who continue to serve us and keep up safe. The Gala begins at 6 p.m. and tickets can be purchased for $65/adult and $30 for children 10 and under.
Downtown Art Show
Owensboro will be kicking off its third annual Downtown Fine Art Show on July 15 this year! Sponsored by Fetta Specialty Pizza and the Owensboro Art Guild, this show will feature the paintings, sculptures, mixed media, mosaics, pottery and jewelry created by amazing artists. Held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., artists will set up booths and displays from 2nd Street to Veterans Blvd. with live music, food and drinks to enjoy throughout the day.
Friday After 5
This is where the weekend begins here in Owensboro! Friday After 5 will be supporting its heroes this weekend so this one is all about our hard-working first responders. Live music from Caribou will be played at the Jagoe Homes Riverfront stage from 6-9:30 p.m., while The Blind Playboys will play at the Roman Subaru Overlook Stage from 7-9 p.m. The Andy Brasher Band will play at Lure from 7-10 p.m. and Eighty-Sixt will take the Ruoff Party Stage from 8:30-11:30 p.m. As always, FA5 is free to attend.
