Rugged Race      

We’ve got a race that’s both good for the body and good for the soul! The MentorKids Kentucky Rugged Race will be held at Diamond Lake Resort on August 5 this year. This 5K race features 28 obstacles that range from water crossing, mud, barbed wire and much more! You can sign up in the Elite category if you really want to win, or the Ultimate category if you’re just there to have some fun. All participants receive a finisher’s medal and t-shirt. Lanham Brothers Jamboree  

Get ready for a night of local Bluegrass talent at the Lanham Brothers Jamboree! Brothers Randy and Barry Lanham will perform at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum on August 5, and this show will be recorded for broadcast on KET! Guest artists include David Morris, Erin Rouse, Mark Shelton, Randall Howard, The Bluegrass Brothers and The Footstompin Express Cloggers. This show is family-friendly with comedy, skits and crowd interactions. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $15.

Allan’s Ruthless Tour is coming to Owensboro for a night of smoldering vocals, rebellious lyrics and raucous live performances.
