Imagination has no limits at Marble Slab Creamery, so you can find a ton of creative ice cream flavors here. From chocolate caramel butter pecan to cotton candy carnival, you can buy ice cream by the cup, pint or quart, and you can even create your own personalized ice cream cake!
Wonder Whip
Everyone in Owensboro loves Wonder Whip. With an old-school aesthetic that takes you all the way back to the 1950s, Wonder Whip serves delicious hot food along with some of the best homemade ice cream in the area. You can find everything from butterscotch milkshakes to vanilla/chocolate twist cones to sundaes with warm fudge drizzled on top.
Pinky’s Snowcones & Snacks
Pinky’s is amazing for so many reasons, and one of those is because you can get a delicious two-for-one combo here! This place sells some of the best snow cones in the tristate, and you can also add a scoop of ice cream on top! Snow cone flavors range from red cherry cheesecake to dreamsicle, and there’s even a limited time “Barbie” flavor available!
Ritzy’s (The only two locations left in the world are located right here in Owensboro!)
If you grew up in Owensboro, you definitely got an ice cream cone at Ritzy’s at some point. The flavors are endless here, and you can taste everything from chunky dory fudge to cotton candy confetti and wild mountain blackberry. This local treasure has been a hotspot for decades here in Owensboro. They’ve been serving hot food and cold ice cream since 1954, and they’ve maintained a huge following ever since.
