ROMP 

We are officially heading into ROMP weekend, y’all! Held June 21-24 at Yellow Creek Park, this outdoor Bluegrass music festival is going to bring thousands of people together for four days of live jammin’, delicious food and amazing vibes. With a lineup that includes Sam Bush, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent and Old Crow Medicine Show (among many others), you’re in for a treat whether you’re a first-timer or a ROMP veteran. ROMP Bourbon Barrel Release 

You’ll have the chance to get your hands on a special-edition ROMP bourbon for the first time this week! On June 20 from 4:30-6:30 p.m., head over to Green River Distilling Co. to purchase a bottle of the first-ever ROMP single barrel to celebrate its 20th anniversary in style. ROMP attendees who signed the initial barrel at the 2018 festival will have the chance to taste the bourbon that was aged inside it over the last five years. The bourbon is presented at full-proof, 110-proof and will be on sale for $59.99.

Events at Bluegrass Hall of Fame 

With the focus being Bluegrass music this week, now is the perfect time to check out the world famous Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Owensboro. You can interact with the history of Bluegrass music, including the people and instruments who made it happen. Tour through limited-time exhibits, permanent features and the Hall of Fame itself. During ROMP week, the BMHFM will host a variety of special activities! Trolleys can take you from ROMP to the Hall of Fame for a special taping of Radio Bristol’s Farm and Fun Time on June 24 from noon-2 p.m.! Rhonda Vincent will play at the Hall of Fame on June 22 at noon and a Hall of Fame Spotlight will feature Kyle Cantrell and Ricky Skaggs at 2 p.m. on June 23.
