Top 3 Things to Do in Owensboro This Weekend: April 21-23

The Isaacs

The Isaacs have performed for over 50 years, taking home nine Dove Awards and receiving three Grammy nominations for their latest three albums. This band has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and as members of the Grand Ole Opry as well. You can see The Isaacs perform at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum on April 22 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35.

Pigtails & Cowlicks

At least 500 families will be selling new or gently used children’s items at amazing prices at this year’s Pigtails & Cowlicks event! This is a great way to stretch your budget and still buy high-quality clothing, shoes and more. In fact, you can find everything from clothing to furniture to baby gear. There is no admission fee to shop and the event will be held at the Owensboro Convention Center on April 21 (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) and April 22 (8 a.m.-1 p.m.).

Beer at The Pub on Second

The Pub on Second is expected to launch its first round of in-house brews in a few weeks, making this a very exciting time to check out this downtown bar. The Pub is widely known for its selection of craft beer and cocktails, but brewing its own beer will be an exciting way for visitors to check out everything Owensboro has to offer. The Pub plans to release three specific beers starting out.
