Great American Bluegrass Jam
The inaugural Great American Bluegrass Jam is coming to Owensboro this weekend! Held March 17-19, this event will feature the Kentucky Fried Pickin’ Hotel Jam, the Kentucky State Fiddle Championship, King’s Highway and The Earls of Leicester in concert at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum and excursions to both Green River Distilling Co. and the Bill Monroe Homeplace in Rosine, KY. This is an event for all fans of Bluegrass music!
Shamrock Bash
You can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a real party this year at the Shamrock Bash! Held on March 17 at the Owensboro Convention Center, this event will feature live music from The Crashers, all the green beer you could want, Pancake Shots made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, and plenty of tasty food to go with it all! Tickets are $12 for general admission and doors open at 7 p.m.
Better Together at RPC
You can catch an awesome show at the RiverPark Center with In Concert featuring Descendants…Better Together. Guest choreographers will utilize a variety of dance styles performed by Owensboro Dance Theatre’s company members, followed by a second act featuring ZFX Effects Flying that will draw you into a magical fairytale world full of fun and frolic. This will be a battle between the heroes and villains and, hopefully, good will prevail! Tickets are $15 and shows will be held on March 18 at 7 p.m. and March 19 at 3 p.m.
