Dolly Parton’s Birthday Celebration

Brasher’s Lil’ Nashville is celebrating Dolly Parton’s birthday in style this year! Head to downtown Owensboro on January 19 for a night of all things Dolly. There will be a look-alike contest, drink specials, and karaoke, so you can sing your heart out to all your favorite songs. The country music singer and philanthropist is turning 77 this year, and Brasher’s “In Dolly We Trust” party is going to be one for the books! Bring some cash for a cover charge at this 21-and-older event.

An explosive, inventive and utterly unique night awaits you at the RiverPark Center, where Broadway production STOMP will be taking the stage! See this eight-member troupe use everything EXCEPT conventional percussion instruments to create a magical musical experience. There will be brooms, matchboxes, wooden poles, hubcaps, trashcans,  Zippo lighters, and all sorts of creative props to create this electrifying show. STOMP will take place at RPC on January 17 and tickets are $35.

Micro Wrestling

The Micro Wrestling Federation is a full-scale WWE-type event with one twist: All of the wrestlers are under five feet tall. You’ll get a night full of body slams, headlocks and nonstop action at this event! There will be two single matches, a micro brawl and a micro rumble, where the Micro Superstars face off for the main event and a chance at the belt. Advance tickets are $23.99 and the event takes place at the Owensboro Convention Center on January 21 at 8 p.m.
