Coffey Anderson headlining FA5 on July 29

Friday After 5 has long been known for bringing amazing, unique talent to Owensboro, and the free outdoor concert series is doing it again this year with a performance from Coffey Anderson!

For those who don’t know, Anderson is a Texas-born singer/songwriter who mixes mainstream country music with pop, R&B and hip-hop beats. He came to fame through his YouTube videos and has released eight albums over the course of his career.

You may know Anderson best for some of his hit songs, which include “Mr. Red, White, And Blue,” “Better Today,” “Bud Light Blue” and Blessed.”

Anderson just released a new album, “Come On With It,” in June, so he’s going to have a whole lineup of new songs to mix into some of his greatest hits for this event. Coffey himself has said that this album is “me, 100%.”

“I want a singalong,” he said. “I tell anyone, ‘If you want to hear a Coffey song, think of the male Shania.’ We’re talking about big fiddles, big guitars, loud drums – stadium country.”

This is going to be a show for anyone and everyone who enjoys innovative country music, and we cannot wait to see you there.

You can see Anderson perform live at FA5 on July 29 from 7-10 p.m. at the Jagoe Stage in McConnell Plaza.
