Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame Induction

Bluegrass lovers won’t want to miss this historic night of celebrating bluegrass artists and their music!  Jerry Douglas, one of the most awarded bluegrass artists in history, honors his heroes at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum on Saturday, March 28 at 7 p.m.  This annual event honors the most recent inductees into the International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Fame including The Kentucky Colonels consisting of Roland White, Clarence White, Roger Bush, LeRoy Mack, and Billy Ray Latham.  Also inducted this year are Bill Emerson and Mike Aldridge.  The International Bluegrass Music Association officially inducted the new Hall of Fame members as part of their annual award show in Raleigh, NC last September, but Owensboro’s event focuses solely on the artists and their contributions to bluegrass music.

The evening will feature special performances from Jerry Douglas, Jeff Hanna (founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), Tim O’Brien, Michael Cleveland, Alison Brown, Mark Schatz, Jeff White, and County Current:  The US Navy Band.  Tickets are $38 for reserved seating and $48 for VIP seating.  Doors open at 5 p.m., and the event begins at 7 p.m.  Click here to purchase yours now!
