Exile Performing at the Daviess County Lions Club Fair

The Daviess County Lions Club Fair is sponsoring a special concert with “Exile” on Saturday, July 27 at 8 p.m.!   Exile is an American rock band known for hits like “Kiss You All Over” and “Give Me One More Chance”.  The concert will take place at the fairgrounds on Highway 54 in Philpot, Ky.  Gates and beer gardens opening at 5 p.m. with Exile hitting the stage at 8 p.m.  Concessions will be provided by the Daviess County Lions Club including the on-site Beer Garden.  No coolers or outside beverage allowed.  Lawn chairs are permitted, and limited bleacher seating will be available.  Tickets are $20 for general admission and $50 for VIP.  Click here to purchase yours now!

 

Friday After 5

The 23rd season of the areas favorite free summer series, “Shake, Rattle & Stroll”, continues with a new set of live bands, family events, food trucks and entertainment this Friday, July 26 beginning at 5 p.m.!  Some of this Friday’s music includes southern and classic rock and acoustic music from bands 2 Miles Back and Cynthia Murray.  One of the hottest bands in the tri-state area The Crashers will return to party the night away at The Kentucky Legend Pier from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Owensboro Convention Center.  The band Last Call will be performing at the Romain Subaru Overlook stage from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  A full schedule of live music can be found here.  And don’t forget about the Ohio Boat Parade at roughly 8 p.m. with a judging at the Kentucky Legend Pier!  Fun for the whole family can be found from balloon animals to the FAF Foto Booth to special character Princess Troll tonight, courtesy of TD’s Tuff Decisions. Summer Shorts 2019

The Theatre Workshop of Owensboro presents Summer Shorts 2019, one of TWO’s most popular traditions featuring a collection of original one-act plays in their WORLD PREMIERE!  12 new plays have been selected from submissions from around the country, and even internationally, to be presented in this exciting festival which is split into two nights.  Friday, July 27 at 7:30 p.m., enjoy the first six plays in Group A, and on Saturday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m. you can come back at watch Group B!  Tickets in advance to SUMMER SHORTS 2019 are $18.00 for adults and $12.00 for students.  Patrons who simultaneously purchase tickets to GROUP A and GROUP B will receive a 25% discount.  There will be a $2.00 surcharge for tickets purchased at the door.  Click here to purchase tickets online or call TWO at (270) 683-5333.
