Visit Owensboro earns 2018 Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Member of the year award
“2018 has been a transformational year for our organization!”, said Mark A. Calitri, president/CEO of Visit Owensboro.
Calitri noted that one of the original goals for Owensboro Daviess County Convention and Visitors Bureau was to develop a strong partnership with the Chamber and support each other’s efforts and work towards a common goal and this award highlights success in achieving that goal.
Kirk Kirkpatrick, master of ceremonies for the award event congratulated Visit Owensboro on the award saying that it was the first time the award has been won by a group and that cvb is ‘making history’.
This award serves as recognition for Visit Owensboro efforts this year in building a valuable and relevant organization to Owensboro and Daviess County.
