The 3 percent tax on hotel room rentals in January is up 10.7 percent from last year. This success is highlighting the fact that for Owensboro and Daviess County to continue creating a positive impact on the community we must be event driven. Our key focus will be directed towards the state association market and sports at all levels, including college.
