Local naturalist Obbie Todd will lead the Kentucky Rough Riders on a hike through the Rudy Mine Trails – a tribute to both TR’s love for nature and his dedication to living “the strenuous life!” Hike of about one mile will be at a leisurely pace and will last approximately two hours. Optional potluck picnic on the grounds to follow.
The Kentucky Rough Riders are dedicated to the legacy of Theodore Roosevelt with discussion and debates about topics of interest to our 26th President, including historic and current events.
Meetings are open to the public; everyone welcome.
