Help kick off the 29th season of Friday After 5 on May 16. You can look forward to 11 Fridays of live music and family fun! This year’s Friday After 5 will include 22 different artists on two stage locations!
The Main Stage, located at McConnell Plaza, starts at 7:00 PM and will end at 10:00 PM. Located within Smothers Park, you will find lots of seating to eat your food truck meal and listen to 2 different bands every Friday! Overlook stage, located at Frederica Street & The Ohio River, starts at 6:00 PM and will end at 8:00 PM. Overlook will allow the early birds to listen to some live music before dark! The Street Fair will start at 5:00 PM, and there is so much to explore this season! Keep an eye out for an exciting new addition to Friday After 5, a petting zoo that will be downtown every Friday! Like always, there will be so many delicious food truck choices from BBQ, Greek, Mexican, ice cream, lemonade, alcohol, and so much more! Let’s also not forget the amazing vendors lining the street as well! Discover handmade items, one-of-a-kind gifts, and charming knick-knacks.
Be prepared for this fun event, it doesn’t last long! Friday After 5 runs from Friday, May 16 to Friday, August 1. Don’t forget that this is also a free event to attend with free live music!
