The true story of Helen Keller, this inspiring drama is an American classic. Blind, deaf and mute, young Helen is in danger of being institutionalized in 1880s Alabama. Her desperate parents seek help in the form of Miss Annie Sullivan, a “half blind yankee schoolgirl” who serves as Helen’s tutor. The journey of both student and teacher is remarkable, as they introduce Helen to the world around her.
