River City Bike Expo
This weekend is for all the motorcycle enthusiasts out there! The River City Bike Expo will be held on June 2 and 3 at the Owensboro Convention Center. This event will be packed with fun activities for cyclists of all ages and experience levels, including tons of onsite vendors, a sound show, a bike show and a tattoo experience! On Saturday, you can enjoy live music, a fashion show by Evansville Harley Davidson and an awards ceremony for the bike show and tattoo competitions.
Owensboro Symphony Summer Salute
We’ve got a FREE concert from the Owensboro Symphony to brag about! The Summer Salute will feature the Owensboro Symphony with special guest Rockapella for a night of amazing music on our downtown riverfront. Songs from Shambala, Philadelphia Freedom and Rock the Boat will be played. This concert will be held on June 2 at 7 p.m. at McConnell Plaza. Just bring your own chairs! Those wanting a VIP experience can purchase tickets for the Conductor’s Circle right here.
Farmers Market
There’s no better way to kick off your weekend than with a trip to the Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market! Held on Saturdays from 8 a.m.-noon, you can shop from over a dozen local vendors that sell everything from fresh veggies to homegrown flowers and specialty meats. There are also several craft vendors! This event is free to the public, and the Farmers’ Market is located at 1205 Triplett Street.
