Indoor Archery
Held for three days (Feb. 17-19) at the Owensboro Convention Center, the 2023 Kentucky S3DA Indoor State Championship will bring the best indoor archers in the state to our city for some competitive play. This will be a great opportunity to see indoor archery in-person and experience 3D and indoor target shooting up close.
Dance Battle Extravaganza
This fundraiser for Owensboro Dance Theatre will showcase a variety of dancers from trained professionals to local community members. Held on February 18 at the RiverPark Center, Dance Battle Extravaganza will feature Giordano Dance Chicago for the first act and our very own local talent in the second act. Tickets start at $15 and every dollar raised provides free trinkets to performances and community outreach programs.
Audio Tours at Bluegrass Museum
Great stories are at the heart of great Bluegrass music, and you can hear all the sounds and stories at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Through small, handheld devices, you can take an audio tour through the Bluegrass Museum that brings those stores to life in a fun and interactive way. The tour is narrated by Kyle Cantrell, who has worked with and met several of the artists featured on the tour. Head to the Bluegrass Hall of Fame and ask about audio tours when stopping by.
