One of Owensboro’s best-kept secrets is our amazing ice-skating rink. One of only four ice-skating rinks in the state of Kentucky, Edge Ice Center is open all year long, and it’s well-known all across the Midwest for its top-notch quality.
Edge Ice Center is home to the Owensboro Youth Hockey Association and the Owensboro Figure Skating Club, but it’s open for public ice-skating as well. It offers a full concession stand and pro shop, so you can warm up with hot chocolate and other fun snacks while you’re taking a break from the ice!
With over 42,000 square feet of space, including 17,000 square feet of ice surface, Edge is one of the largest public ice-skating rinks you’ll find anywhere.
Edge also has three meeting rooms with flat-screen TVs in each, so you can throw all kinds of parties and events there.
