On Thursday, January 19, Brasher’s Lil’ Nashville is going to celebrate the country music icon’s birthday with a Dolly-themed party.
“In Dolly We Trust” will feature karaoke, a look-alike contest, drink specials, photo opportunities and more! The singer, actress and philanthropist is turning 77, so this 21-and-over event is for decades of Dolly fans.
Aside from selling 100 million records worldwide, winning 11 Grammys and having 25 No. 1 singles on the Billboard country music charts, Dolly Parton has garnered international recognition for being co-owner of The Dollywood Company and creating the Dollywood Foundation, which manages a number of projects to bring education and poverty relief to east Tennessee, where she grew up.
