You can hear legendary artist Jimmy Fortune perform live at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum on December 15! For those who may not know, Fortune climbed to fame by singing and touring with the Statler Brothers for 21 years, where he wrote the group’s No. 1 hit “Elizabeth,” followed by “My Only Love” and Too Much On My Heart.” Fortune launched a solo career in 2002 the included a slew of albums, with accolades including #10 Billboard Country Album, #1 Southern Gospel and #6 Contemporary Christian. Breakfast with Santa
What’s a better combination than a pancake breakfast and pictures with Santa?! You’ll get the best of both worlds at the Owensboro Convention Center on December 17, where families are invited to attend an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast and score free pics with the big guy himself! The 5th annual event is always a good time for everyone who attends and the perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. The event runs from 7-10:30 a.m.

As part of Owensboro’s Hometown Christmas 2022, downtown Owensboro is spreading holiday cheer with Santa’s Sweets – a two-day event that runs December 16-17.
Satisfy your holiday sweet tooth with some sugar- and fudge-infused treats that will be sold by participating restaurants and businesses in downtown Owensboro. The event is free to the public and everyone is encouraged to join us in kicking off the Christmas season in the sweetest way possible!
