Christmas Parade  

One of the greatest Christmas parades in the Midwest is coming to downtown Owensboro on Saturday, November 19 at 4:30 p.m. Bring all your favorite people to our city to enjoy over a hundred different floats bedazzled in lights, marching bands, Christmas music blasting from windows and character appearances galore! This hour-long parade will also feature the man himself – Santa – as he closes the parade with a grand finale. The Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade is free to the public and runs along 2nd Street from Pearl Street to Locust Street. 

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band          

You’ll have the chance to see one of the greatest country music bands in history this weekend as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band takes the stage at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This concert features a refreshed lineup and newfound energy following an extended 50th Anniversary tour which, to be honest, is an amazing feat on its own!
