Where to Celebrate Halloween in Owensboro

There are so many ways to celebrate Halloween, and Owensboro has tons of ways to get you into the spooky season this year! 

 

We’re breaking down a list of all the parties, festivities and Halloween-themed events that should be on your radar leading up to October 31. You could make an entire weekend out of several of them!

 

At Owensboro’s hometown brewery, Brew Bridge will host History Served Up: Halloween Style on October 21 from 5:30-7 p.m. Collaborating with the Owensboro Museum of Science & History, you can learn all about the history of witches at this fun event. Historian Matt Alschbach will present Bewitched: Women as Purveyors of the Medical, Mystical and Magical in America. Tickets are $30 and include a $10 appetizer and a $6 pumpkin spice beer. 

 

If you’re in the mood for a Halloween party with all the bells and whistles, you won’t want to miss Cork & Cuisine: Happy Hallo-Wine at the Owensboro Convention Center on October 27. Treat yourself to a night of spooktacular food, wine and spirits from 6-10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased right here! 

 

Also on October 27, you can bring the entire family to downtown Owensboro for Trail of Treats from 5:30-8 p.m. Be sure to bring your treat bag for tons of free candy from over 60 different booths! You can also enjoy character appearances and fun Halloween music at this free event. 

 

The Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market is returning with its Halloween Market this year on October 29 from 8 a.m.-noon. This is one of the most-attended events of the year, and you can score tons of amazing meats and produce, homemade candy and sweets and beautiful fall decor from amazing local artisans. 

 

You can go trick-or-treating at an a-maze-ing corn maze at The Cottage Farm Stand & Baking Co. on October 29 and 30! The event runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. both days and the cost is $5/person. 

 

If you want to turn the party up a notch, head to Brasher’s Lil’ Nashville on October 29 for their Halloween Party. Get into the spirit with costume contests, live music and tons of fun into the late night hours. The cover charge is $10 and the party kicks off at 8 p.m. 

 

Southern Lanes is celebrating Halloween the right way with Halloween Boos and Booze on October 29 from 7-10 p.m. This amazing bowling alley also sports an arcade, bumper cars, laser tag and a full bar! Wear your best costume and leave the kids at home for the night at this 21-and-older event. 

 

O’Bryan’s Bar & Grill will host its Halloween Party on October 29 from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Catch live music from Blackford Creek and Kalico and rock the night away at this party! Bring $10 for a cover and enjoy drink and beer specials all night long.
