Owensboro’s outdoor summer concert series is celebrating the last few weeks of summer in a big way this weekend. With live music performances from the Jim Gustin Band, Velvet Bombers, Headliners and Dalton’s Burning, you’ll be entertained across four different stages from 5 p.m.-midnight. WBKR will also host a scavenger hunt for “Back to School Night,” as well as Fight Night Finals at the Ruoff Party Stage from 6-8 p.m. This will be one of the last FA5 events of the season, so check it out while you still can! 

Happy Together Tour      

If you’ve been craving a good old-fashioned night of nostalgia, then the RiverPark Center has exactly what you need! On August 13, the Happy Together Tour will hit the RPC stage, bringing you some of the greatest musicians from the 1960s and 70s. This lineup includes headliners such as Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Turtles, The Association and The Vogues, to name a few. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. and tickets are $70/person.

This weekend is going to be all about the live music at Diamond Lake Resort! Head to Owensboro-Daviess County’s famous campground to catch Terry Lee Ridley & His Million Dollar Band take the stage on August 13 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. A first-class showman built around lightning fast piano playing, you’ll hear (and dance to!) some of the greatest hits from the 1950s and 60s. And on August 14, enjoy a Wet and Wild Water Wars Weekend complete with water guns, pumps and firehoses for a day of water-focused fun!
