Enjoy millions of sunflowers, live music at Sunflower Music Fest

Bringing together two of the very best things about Owensboro, the Sunflower Music Festival will highlight the talent of local and regional musicians, as well as Daviess County’s flourishing agritourism industry.

Held for three days at Trunnell’s Farm Market on September 23-25, the Sunflower Music Festival is a chance to enjoy over a MILLION gorgeous sunflowers (and tons of varieties!) during the peak blooming season, all while listening to amazing live music and exploring more than 35 different attractions.

Guests will have so much fun (and lots of Instagram-worthy opportunities) as they graze through the sunflower fields, taking in a brilliant variety of colors, shapes and sizes in their search for the perfect sunflower to take home.

Musicians will play live music for two full days, and you can also camp at this year’s Sunflower Music Fest! You can choose between camping at the Trunnell’s Farm Experience or staying at one of several hotels in Owensboro, only seven miles away from the farm.

You’ll hear music from the Josh Merritt Band, Cynthia Murray & The End Times, Dustin Taylor on the Rocks, Andy Brasher Band, Jerrett Davis and Colt Rickard, Elliott Sublett, Troy Miller, Uncharted, Nick Cheek & The Golden Hour, Skylar Cain, Dakota Hayden and Cam Thomson. The schedule for this music lineup can be found right here.

The Sunflower Music Festival will open at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 and run until midnight. It will run from 11 a.m.-midnight on Saturday. The campgrounds will close on Sunday at 10 a.m. and campers should make their way out of the area by 11 a.m.

Tickets for the Sunflower Music Festival will not be sold at the gate, but you can purchase tickets for this family-friendly fest right here.
