Can’t-Miss Brunch Spots in Owensboro

Despite what you may think, brunch is more than a trend brought back to life by millenials. Here in Owensboro, it’s been a way of life for a long time. And that’s because our city has so many great options to choose from for that specific meal that’s not quite breakfast, not quite lunch, but somewhere in between.

If you’re in the downtown area during your stay, you’ve got it made when it comes to brunch. Lure Seafood and Grille has an amazing brunch menu full of creative, delicious cuisine, and they even offer bottomless brunch drinks on occasion!

Also downtown, The Miller House is known for its southern-focused cuisine, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better place for brunch. From shrimp and grits to steak and eggs benedict, every single menu item is made to perfection. With a full bar available, you can sip on a Bloody Mary or a mimosa while your food is prepared. You can also eat inside the restaurant or outdoors on the wraparound porch and patio when the weather is nice.

While brunch at the Famous Bistro is only offered on Saturdays, it’s one of the best options in the city of Owensboro. Literally everything on the menu tastes amazing, and you can find some of the best made brunch staples – such as eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits and gravy – you’ll taste anywhere.

Brew Bridge offers a full-course brunch on weekends, and it’s also the perfect chance to try out some locally-brewed beer for an early afternoon of good food and great brews. And Ole South Barbecue has become famous for its delectable brunch menu made available on weekends. You can either order off the menu or try one of everything at Ole South’s breakfast and brunch buffet.

Newly opened, Windy Hollow Biscuit House has garnered wide acclaim for its brunch menu, and Burger Theory Owensboro serves a full lineup of amazing brunch items (including an amazing Bloody Mary) at its downtown location.
