Coffey Anderson at FA5

Owensboro’s free outdoor concert series is bringing you Texas native Coffey Anderson on Friday, July 29 for a night of amazing country music. Anderson mixes mainstream country with pop, R&B and hip-hop beats for an innovative mashup of today’s best hits. Anderson’s known best for hits such as “Mr. Red, White, And Blue,” ”Better Today” and “Bud Light Blue,” but he’s also garnered fans through his popular YouTube videos. You can see Anderson perform live from 7-10 p.m. at the Jagoe Stage in McConnell Plaza.

Cruise Ship Viewing

One of the coolest things about living in a river city is getting to see the boats dock from our downtown riverfront. On July 30, you can see, not a boat, but a huge cruise ship dock at English Park! The American Queen will be swinging through Owensboro to give its passengers a day to experience our beautiful city, and you can see the amazing, multi-story ship yourself from 8 a.m.-noon.
