Hops on the Ohio bringing craft beer, live music to downtown Owensboro

Bringing you a day of craft beer, live music and good food, Hops on the Ohio is returning to the RiverPark Center on July 9, and this fan favorite festival is going to be one to remember this year!

Running from 3-7 p.m., this four-hour tour of local Kentucky breweries will supply you with all the craft beer you could ask for as breweries from across the state head to Owensboro to participate.

Food trucks will be onsite offering delicious treats, while amazing music will be played live on the outdoor patio. Everything about Hops on the Ohio is executed well, from the venue to the beer selection to the music.

Not only can you try beer from a number of breweries across the state, but you can enjoy bourbon from Owensboro’s very own Green River Distilling Co., as well as local beer from Brew Bridge and Goodwood, so this is the perfect chance to see, taste and experience all that Owensboro has to offer.

Bringing more than 600 people to Hops on the Ohio in 2019, co-founder Cody Anderson said his team couldn’t wait to see how many people turn out for this year’s beer fest. Hops on the Ohio serves as a fundraiser for RPC, with ticket revenue covering the costs of free educational programs for children.

“Expect an afternoon full of brews, tunes and food trucks,” Anderson said. “You can also expect a handful of other events before and after at surrounding bars and restaurants.”

Tickets for Hops on the Ohio are $48 and can be ordered right here.
