On May 6, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum will host Dailey & Vincent to perform live for a night of amazing Bluegrass music. Backed by one of the best bands on tour today, Dailey & Vincent are some of the most reputable and elite entertainers in American music, with songs and styles that range from bluegrass to traditional country, to gospel. Tickets are $40.50 each and the show starts at 7 p.m.

Head to the entrance at the corner of Third and Daviess Streets to see some of the hottest classic cars in the tristate. There will be great food, prizes, activities and more at this family-friendly event. The show runs from 4-8 p.m. on May 7.

Tours at Western KY Botanical Garden

One of the most beautiful places in Owensboro, Western Kentucky Botanical Garden is the perfect place to escape the daily hardships of life and take some time to relax, reflect and regroup. Check out the historic WeatherBerry house before taking a tour along the beautiful pathways that meander through the garden’s landscape. Here, you can find herbs, roses, daylilies, a huge variety of plants and trees, ponds, cottages and so, so much more! And this year, WKBG has implemented a new system of QR codes that can be scanned via phone to provide information to tourists. You can visit the garden Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Sundays from noon-4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and veterans, and $1 for students and children.
