Dailey & Vincent
If you’re in the market for a concert from some high-profile, multi award-winning musicians, then we’ve got you covered this weekend. On May 6, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum will host Dailey & Vincent to perform live for a night of amazing Bluegrass music. Individually, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent have won five Grammy awards each and, together, they’ve taken home three Grammy nominations. They’re also four-time DOVE Award winners, and the pair have earned 35 IBMA Awards altogether. Backed by one of the best bands on tour today, Dailey & Vincent are some of the most reputable and elite entertainers in American music, with songs and styles that range from bluegrass to traditional country, to gospel. Tickets are $40.50 each and the show starts at 7 p.m.
It’s that time of year again, and we know you can’t wait for it! Car shows are back in downtown Owensboro, and we’ve got a full lineup of top-notch vehicles for you to see this summer. This weekend’s Downtown Cruise-In will feature all things Mopar (any Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Ram or Jeep vehicle with an emphasis on classic or vintage models). Head to the entrance at the corner of Third and Daviess Streets to see some of the hottest classic cars in the tristate. There will be great food, prizes, activities and more at this family-friendly event. The show runs from 4-8 p.m. on May 7.
