Downtown Car Show
Sunset Cruisers is hosting an excellent car show in Owensboro this weekend at the Downtown Cruise In. On Saturday, June 4, you can check out the coolest makes and models from General Motors from 4-8 p.m. While the cars will be the highlight of the show, guests can also enjoy a variety of door prizes (and it’s only for the ladies this round!), a GM Recognition Award, and all of the restaurants, bars and boutiques spread across downtown Owensboro. You can enter the Downtown Cruise In at 3rd and Daviess Streets.
Live on the Banks
You can catch, not one, but two live musical performances in downtown Owensboro this Saturday at Live on the Banks! Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the riverfront and take in the melodic sounds from some of the tri-state’s most talented performers at this event. This weekend, you can hear Rufus & Julia Trio play live at the Overlook Stage, while Skylar Cain will perform at the Allen Street Gazebo. Live on the Banks will take place on June 4, and this free outdoor concert series runs from 7-9 p.m.
Friday After 5
This weekend’s Friday After 5 is going to be absolutely incredible! This free outdoor concert series will take place in downtown Owensboro on June 3 from 5-midnight, bringing you live music from tons of talented artists. Tailgate will perform a blend of country and rock from the Atmos Amphitheater from 5:30-7:30 p.m., while country music stars The Hobbs Sisters will play from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Jagoe Homes Riverfront stage. You can also enjoy classic 70s rock from 8 Track at the Romain Subaru Overlook Stage from 7-9 p.m. and soul music from Tony & The Tan Lines at the Ruoff Party Stage from 8:30-11:30 p.m.
