Owensboro Symphony: Superheroes      

Superhero fans, this is your time, because Troy Quinn and the Owensboro Symphony are taking you on a visual and auditory journey this weekend with their latest concert, “Superheroes: Avengers, Superman, Mahler, and More.” The Symphony will perform heroic selections from some of your favorite superhero films, from Batman to The Avengers. This is a great opportunity to introduce your kiddos to the Owensboro Symphony, as they will probably recognize several of these songs and scores! Tickets are $42.50 each and the show will be held at the RiverPark Center on April 16 at 7 p.m. 

Trunnell’s Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Fun  

What’s a better combo than an Easter Egg Hunt and real, live bunnies to play with?! Trunnell’s will have it all this weekend with their “Egg-Ceptional Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Fun” event at the Utica location. The egg hunt will feature non-stop egg hunts with prize packs for kiddos, a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny (plus photo opps), and all the adorable little bunny cuddles you could ask for. This family-friendly event will be held on April 16 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and tickets are $14.99 for those 13 months-17 years of age. Don’t forget your camera and Easter basket! 

Loose Wheel at Lil’ Nashville     

Brasher’s Lil’ Nashville is continuing to pull all the stops with another great round of live music this weekend. Head to downtown Owensboro to catch Loose Wheel perform their blend of country, blues and rock music on Saturday, April 16 at 9 p.m. Before Loose Wheel takes the stage, you can see Madeline Wilkerson perform at 2 p.m., followed by Drew Aud at 6 p.m. There is a minimal cover charge at the door, so be sure to bring some cash and plan for a fun night out!
