Top 3 Things to Do in Owensboro This Weekend: February 4-6

East Nash Grass

Dubbed the “hottest young band of pickers” in the entire city of Nashville is pretty cool, and that’s why East Nash Grass is blowing up all across the country right now. And their backstory—being founded in 2017 as a part-time pickup gig band—makes them even cooler, if that’s possible. East Nash Grass has a unique sound that includes banjo riffs and dobro slides coupled with a warm and stable low-end, giving their music a tender touch not often heard in traditional Bluegrass music. The band will play at Owensboro’s Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum on February 5 at 7 p.m. Tickets are only $20, so grab them while you can!

Champions of Magic

Who doesn’t love a night of good magic? On Monday, February 7, you can treat yourself to a super unique event at Owensboro’s RiverPark Center with Champions of Magic taking the stage at 7 p.m. First of all, this group is known as the only team of musicians in the entire world. Secondly, they’ve sold out shows across the entire globe and have been featured on every major TV network in the nation. Thirdly, the Champions of Magic cast presents an incredible variety of interactive magic, along with levitation, escapes from a water torture cell and mind-blowing predictions. It can’t get more exciting than that! Tickets for this family-friendly event are $35.

Dinosaur World Live

If you love all things Jurassic, we’ve got the show for you this weekend. Dinosaur World Live will hit the RiverPark Center stage on February 8 at 7 p.m. for a night of fascination and exploration that includes these massively impressive creatures. These dinosaurs are remarkably life-like, and you can see all of your favorites, from the legendary Tyrannosaurus Rex to the Microraptor. A special meet-and-greet after the show gives you the chance to meet the dinos too! Tickets for Dinosaur World Live are only $13!
