Top 3 Things to Do in Owensboro This Weekend: December 10-12

Hot Chocolate Hop

The most challenging thing about the Hot Chocolate Hop isn’t the hopping, but the sheer amount of hot chocolate that’s going to be awaiting you at this event. At least 15 different downtown locations will be serving specialty hot chocolate in a variety of flavors and styles. Some of these choices will even have a splash of bourbon or rum for the adults. All you have to do is show up downtown and hop/walk/skip/run from place to place until you’ve had all the hot chocolate you can take! As part of Owensboro’s 12 Days of Christmas event, the Hot Chocolate Hop kicks off on December 10 at 5 p.m. You can snag a hot chocolate from the following restaurants and stores: Burger Theory, The Pub on Second, Don Mario’s, Colby’s, RiverPark Center’s GhostLight Lounge, SIP, Lure Seafood and Grille, Famous Bistro, Mellow Mushroom, The Brew Bridge, Owensboro Convention Center’s Energy on Ice, Brasher’s Lil’ Nashville, Simply Chic Home Accents and Willow and Pine.
